Kick-off meeting in Brussels

On the 13th of October, Rosalino Usci, Tre P engineering CEO and CHIMERA project leader, has been invited to Brussels to the Kick off meeting of all LIFE projects financed in 2016.

Over 100 projects have been approved all around Europe. The European Commission welcomed project coordinators and congratulated them on their success.

During the event, participants had the chance to know each other and exchange ideas and contacts. Rosalino met two other LIFE projects’ coordinators who showed high interest for possible future cooperation: Ms Cristina Vicente with LIFE AMMONIA TRAPPING project (University of Valladolid, Spain), and Mr Theofilos Zampetakis with LIFE POSITIVEMgOFGD (CEO of a Greek company working on magnesite mining). The first will develop an innovative solution for reducing ammonia emissions from chicken and pig’s excretions. The second will test a new dry technology to produce fertilizers and construction materials.

Both projects have common implications with CHIMERA and will possibly lead to future partnerships.
