Networking activities continue with the LIFE AGRESTIC project which took part in the CHIMERA Final Event on 23 November 2022, with a specific session dedicated to the presentation of the project “LIFE AGRESTIC – Reduction of Agricultural GReenhouse gases EmiSsions Through Innovative Cropping systems”, that promotes the adoption of innovative and efficient cropping systems, with high potential for mitigating climate change, and contributes to the dissemination of innovative visions and tools for more efficient agriculture that is attentive to climate impacts. Like CHIMERA, LIFE AGRESTIC is a LIFE project, the program for the environment and climate action and the two projects have shared networking activities, confronting each other over the years on complementary issues, in particular in relation to the issue of reducing gas emissions greenhouse. At the CHIMERA Final Event, LIFE AGRESTIC was presented by Pierluigi Meriggi, agronomist, expert in integrated crop production and consultancy for agricultural entrepreneurs, agro-industries and producer organizations, he is one of the founders of HORTA, Spin off of the dell’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, with many years of experience in the field of research in plant epidemiology and in the application of agronomic techniques.
