At the third edition of the competition dedicated to companies “Best performer of the circular economy”, the CHIMERA project won the third position at national level, for its category. The initiative organized by Confindustria for information, updating and sharing of experiences and good practices, aims to bring out the opportunities linked to the circular economic model, activate knowledge-sharing dynamics and disseminate the best practices available, such as the one conceived with the project LIFE CHIMERA. The European Union has deemed it appropriate to draw up an Action Plan precisely to facilitate the transition towards a “circular” growth model, such as the one that CHIMERA wants to achieve through an innovative process of disposal and enhancement of chicken manure, thanks to a plant that transforms the droppings into fertilizer, and electrical and thermal energy for the poultry farm.
