‘The contribution of agriculture to climate resilience: innovative techniques and support policies’ is the title of the Policy Maker Event organized on Monday 14 March 2022 by LIFE AGRESTIC, a project with which CHIMERA has started Networking activities in 2021. LIFE AGRESTIC aims to promote the adoption of innovative and efficient cropping systems, based on the introduction of legumes and catch crops in four-year rotations of cereals and industrial crops, and of innovative tools in order to mitigate the impact of agricultural activity on climate change and optimize agronomic management. The webinar event offers a discussion with the Institutions (DG AGRI, MIPAAF, ISMEA and CREA) that deal with policies related to the topics covered by the project, in order to highlight the opportunities for applying the solutions developed within the sector policies. The LIFE AGRESTIC project involves six partners: Horta Srl, ART-ER S.Cons.pa, Isea srl, New Business Media srl, Sant’Anna Advanced School of University Studies and Advanced Studies and Universities Catholic of the Sacred Heart of Piacenza.
