Contacts are intensifying between 3P Engineering, Coordinating Beneficiary of the LIFE CHIMERA project, and the Renders & Renders V.O.F. (Associated Beneficiary), in view of the installation of the pilot plant, expected in the coming months in the Netherlands. Here the brothers Jack and Mark Renders, owners of the poultry farm located in North-Brabant, are going to test the innovative technology based on two patents developed by 3P Engineering. The pilot plant will work at continuous cycle for 12 months, for the production of fertilizer and thermal and electrical energy, according to the paradigm of the circular economy. Renders & Renders is a broiler farm with over 200,000 heads within ​​8,100 square meters, the ideal context to validate CHIMERA. The Netherlands is the largest meat exporter in Europe and must face the problem to overcome the levels of nitric oxide emissions from intensive animal husbandry.
