CHIMERA and LIFE FREEDOM organized a meeting to present their respective LIFE projects on January 28, 2022, as part of the Networking activity (D2). For both the projects, the objective is the realization of an innovative plant, in particular, LIFE FREEDOM aims of solving treatment of wastewater sewage sludge with new HTL technology to produce hydrocarbons, asphalts and fertilizers. The project proposes an ecological alternative to the disposal and management of sewage sludge produced by wastewater treatment, through the creation of an innovative plant that contributes to the development of the state of the art in the economically sustainable recovery of sewage sludge waste. The partners of LIFE FREEDOM: AGROSISTEMI SRL, SYNGEN SRL, UNIVERSITY OF PAVIA, EDUARDO TORROJA INSTITUTE, CAP HOLDING SpA, MONDO PULITO d.o.o. The meeting between LFE CHIMERA and LIFE FREEDOM was an interesting opportunity for comparison similarities between the two projects, giving rise to collaborative ideas concerning know-how and laboratory activities for the chemical analysis of the compound that is obtained with the CHIMERA plant.
