CHIMERA’s activities continue with the design of the PILOT PLANTwhich will be installed at the partner Renders & Renders, in the Noord-Brabant region, in the Netherlands. The design of the pilot plant was completed and the design of the turbine cogenerator was defined with the purchase of the ORC component; the design of the two-phase scrubber – first abatement, of the perforated plate scrubber – second abatement was also completed; of the wash relaunch tank; and the NH3 treatment decanter and scrubber. The completion of the component purchase, already planned by Q2 2021, will allow to pre-assemble the pilot plant in Italy at a farm in the Marche region next summer, so that the PILOT PLANT can be transferred in September 2021, at Renders & Renders, where it will operate in a continuous cycle for one year, in order to optimize project engineering and flow management.
