On Friday 27 May 2022, at the “Abbadia di Fiastra” Nature Reserve, the live event dedicated to the presentation of the CHIMERA Pilot Plant on the occasion of LIFEis30, organized for the 30th anniversary of the European LIFE program. After two prototypes already realized from the beginning of the European project, at Fileni and the Lorenzetti farms in the Marche region, in Italy, the last phase of the European project is now starting: from June 2022, the pilot plant will be in the Netherlands, at Renders & Renders farm, partner of the LIFE European project. Here the pilot plant will work in a continuous cycle: the challenge is to dispose of 1,500 t of droppings, producing 260 t of fertilizer and 4.5 GWh of thermal energy, and electricity.
